CITLFA
Students’ Services Department

Enquiries and online registrations for student membership are handled exclusively by the CITLFA Students’ Services Department.
Applicants must complete the online registration and submit all required documents through the official email.


REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION

All applicants must upload clear scans of the following:

1. Proof of Birth Identity
  • Birth Certificate

  • Passport

  • National ID

  • NHIS ID (where applicable)

2. Passport-Size Photograph
3. Educational Credentials
  • SSSCE / WASSCE / GBCE

  • HND / Diploma / Degree (BSc, B.Ed., B.Com., etc.)

  • Postgraduate Certificates (MSc, MBA, MPhil, etc.)

  • Academic Transcript (where applicable)


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To register as a CITLFA student, an applicant must:

  • Be at least 16 years old

  • Possess one of the following qualifications:

Accepted Qualifications
  • SSSCE/GBCE/DBS: Six (6) passes including English Language & Mathematics

  • WASSCE: Six (6) credits including English Language & Mathematics

  • Diploma / HND

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Master’s Degree

  • Any other qualification recognized and approved by CITLFA


REGISTRATION FEES

Successful applicants will be required to pay:

  • Application Fee: Currently waived

  • Tuition Fee: Depending on the Level

  • Annual Subscription: GH¢300

  • Exemption Fees: Applicable if the applicant qualifies for exemptions

Payments may be made online via the portal or using the approved payment options provided.

All applicants must register through the CITLFA Students Management System.

  4. Submit your application and proceed to make payment.

  5. Await confirmation from the Students’ Services Department


CITLFA PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATION SCHEME

The CITLFA Professional Qualification consists of three (3) progressive levels.
Level 1 must be completed before Levels 2 & 3.


LEVEL I – CERTIFICATE LEVEL

  2. Practical Accounting For Business

  3. Principles of Business Law & Taxation


LEVEL II – MANAGERIAL LEVEL
  1. Cyber Crimes, Criminology and Fraud Examination

  2. Natural Resources Accounting And Cross Border Taxation

  3. Forensic Audit Investigations and Assurance

  4. Forensic Issues in Public Financial Management

  5. Financial Crimes, Services And Credit Risk Management

  6. Managerial Accounting And Finance

  7. Consolidated Case Study: Forensic Accounting and Financial Statement Frauds

LEVEL III – PROFESSIONAL LEVEL
  1. Advance Forensic Accounting and Audit Investigation

  2. Advanced Cyber Crimes, Cyber Security And Digital Forensics

  3. Advanced Tax, Tax Audit And Fiscal Policy

  4. Advanced Financial Reporting and Systems/Business Analytics

  5. Advanced Forensic Law and Criminal Investigations
  6. Consolidated Case Study: Advanced Business Forensics, Ethics and Consultancy

EXEMPTION POLICY (CITLFA)

Exemptions are granted based on academic qualifications approved by the Institute.

Degree Holders (BSc Accounting, B.Com, B.Ed Accounting, etc.)
  • Exempted from Level 1

HND Accounting Holders
  • Exempted from Level 1

  • Exempted from Audit & Assurance (2.3) at Level 2

Other Relevant Qualifications
  • Subject-for-subject exemptions up to Level 2


EXAMINATION CENTRES

CITLFA exams are held in the following accredited centres nationwide:

  • Accra


EXAMINATION PERIOD

CITLFA conducts professional examinations two times a year:

  • June

  • November

Candidates must register at least six (6) months before the exam date.

For Offline Payments

After paying at the bank or via mobile money:

  1. Upload your payment slip using the “Pay Offline” option on the portal

  2. Enter the transaction reference/receipt number

  3. Call the Executive Director on 0242318300 to clear your bill
