Since its establishment, the Chartered Institute of Tax Law and Forensic Accountants (CITLFA Ghana) has been dedicated to advancing professional excellence in tax law, forensic accounting, financial investigations, and compliance practice. Recognizing the growing need for highly skilled experts capable of safeguarding financial integrity, the Institute was created to offer structured training, certification, and continuing professional development for practitioners across Ghana and beyond.
In the early stages, the field suffered from limited specialized training resources and a lack of structured pathways for professionals seeking expertise in forensic accounting and tax law. CITLFA Ghana emerged to bridge this gap through a modern, research-driven curriculum built on global standards, case-based learning, and practical investigative tools.
The establishment of the CITLFA Professional Academy further strengthened the Institute’s commitment to providing accessible, high-quality tuition for students, practitioners, and institutions. Through both on-site and virtual learning platforms, the Academy supports candidates at all professional levels, ensuring an environment that promotes competence, ethics, and innovation.
